As you know the drought affects over 10 million people from across Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia. Successive failed rains and rising food prices have resulted in the worst drought the region has seen for over 60 years and has left families struggling for basic food and drink on the brink of starvation. Remember them in your supplications.

Food parcels for the elderly
In aid of OAP's from Woking.
In association with WAVS (Woking Association of Voluntary Services), we organised a food parcel project for old age pensioners of Woking. Children from the community, and adult volunteers packaged food parcels and sent handmade cards with a short message to these recipients. This was a small gesture to reach out to the wider community. Many thanks to all involved. Please take a moment to look the gallery for photos! Well done everyone!

Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability
'Plant Potting'
We regularly visit the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, which is an outstanding medical charity. We have taken the children from the academic program on a outreach visit, to visit patients suffering from long term neuro-disabilities, such as Huntingdon's disease. Part of our engagement included a 'potting a plant' project to make the veranda a more pleasant experience for the patients.
