The children's Tayba programme offers three levels. A Saturday programme for 5-6, 7-10 and 11-15 year olds. The programme involves working through the curriculum, which involves practical aspects such as visitations to hospitals, homeless projects, debate teams and more. We have sports days, celebrate religious calendar events and engage parents in assemblies and presentations. Classes are held at Woking College from 9:30 am to 2.30 pm over three terms across the academic year.
We have a Hifz (Qur'an memorisation) program, primarily for children, on Thursday and Friday mornings from 6 - 7 am. The focus is on structured memorisation coupled with correct enunciation. The instructor for this is Ustadh Hilal Al-Shareef from Aleppo, Syria.
Annual Weekend Retreat
Every year we hold a Children's Retreat at Kingswood Activity Centre in Kent. The main intention of the retreat is to provide an opportunity for the children to develop the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood via the means of engaging in sports and activities, congregational prayer, group litanies, and spending productive time together with dedicated mentors.
